PUNCTAL PLUGS

Punctal plugs are performed for certain patients to assist with tear retention on the ocular surface. It is first important to reduce inflammation prior to performing punctal plugs. Inflammation is addressed with in-office IPL, TearCare, microblepharoexfoliation, topical therapeutics and/or biologics. ​​​​​​​
